Toy Association (OYDER)

Founded in 1994, the Toy Association aims to gather all the actors in toy industry, namely the manufacturers, importers, wholesalers and retailers, under the same roof.

OYDER, as an NGO representing the industry, aims to come to the fore in industrial and commercial life and make itself heard before the public.

The toy industry holds many structural issues despite the fact that it is a growing and promising industry. The manufacturers have suffered significant losses due to the increase in import from the Far East. The Regulation on Toys, issued by the Ministry of Health puts new responsibilities on the manufacturers and importers. Our manufacturers have difficulties in accurately determining the standards of the products they manufacture and reaching the competent authorities that will approve the standards. The importers, on the other hand, have difficulties in ensuring the continuity of their import activities due to the hitches in the customs legislation.
